Default will 99 vette intake maifold fit my 98z

Did all c5's come with ls6 intake. Will a used manifold off a 99 vette fit my 98z. Also the EGR hole was plugged. Can I just swap in my EGR.

LS6's didn't even exist untill the 2001 year model. The vette has NEVER had EGR, so they look like LS6's, though they aren't. Keep your stocker.

both manifolds will flow the same and are most likely the same part number. keep your stocker unless you find an ls6 intake.

IMO don't bother, unless yours is physically destroyed.

Is it just me, or is the same information repeated in this thread 24 times?

So then would a GM ls6 manifold be a worthwhile upgrade?
