How much of a part does ls1tech play in making you want to be faster?

How much of a part does ls1tech play in making you want to be faster? I have been thinking long and hard about many modifications on my car, and have come to the realization that ls1tech is fanning my modding flame to rediculous levels. I would bet if I did not have ls1tech to go to each day, I wouldn't care that I am running mid 12's. I may not have even tried to get to run 11's at all! Maybe, who knows but I don't goto the track much and don't street race at all.

dude, I can totally relate to that!!! I want more just cuz of reading about other people's rides getting better. Kind of making me jealous!

I've read stories and mod lists of guys running 10's and quicker and dreamed. I spend most of my time looking at people's setups that are at the next level I want to be at. If it weren't for LS1Tech, I most likely wouldn't give a ****... Buuuuut since it's here as nomoreWS6 said, it fans the flames. 
On the flip side, this place is great when you have a problem you need help with too.

id say 50% ls1tech 50% my rice burning rx-7 friends that ive been friends with since I was like 8. 5 of them and im the only one with domestic power. Some are getting into mid to low 12's and im hanging stock untill spring

LS1tech is a lot of things to me. It's the reason I go to bed late, the reason I am running late to work cause I get sucked into reading threads and the reason why I have to jutisfy spending money to the wife. --> "But everybody else has a cam and a new rear end. Honey, this will be the LAST major purchase for my car."

it helps me figuring out my car more...the car shop i got to and the idea of one day outrunning 10secopcar at the track is my motivation...so is my roommate that is working on going crazy with nitrous

yeah, tech is crazy like that. I don't have an LS1, but I have a bad feeling that I'm about to be coming into money and spending wayyyyyy too much money on an LS1 f-body and mods. At least this is a good place to learn the best way of going about everything. Thanks to tech, I know the best way to go is to order the tornado,get a couple of those electric superchargers, and top it all with a FAST90/90 intake.
