aight, im about to take a leap over to the dark side and see what the lsx is all about, ( i still like my lt1, but i just want something kinda new)--well its a 2001 Ws6 a4 and it has 28,000 miles, and its the dark navy blue color,

MODS
spoon torque arm
spoon LCA and some relocation brackets
sloted rotors
and other suspension mods, ( the only part he is missing is the panhard rod)
he had mid length headers (with emmisions) and and the ypipe through the borla cat back exhaust
he has a lid (dont know what kind)
it also has the " T.E.A. truck heads) " <--- im not sure if thats the right wording but he said something about lower compression with 6.0 truck heads
it also has a baby cam , mid .500ish (not sure the exact specs)
either way the car put down 350hp and like 360ft.torque. it has a tune

that was with a slipping tranny.

the trans took dump and we have a friend that is a trans tech at a GM dealer ship and he "rebuilt it, and added some performance parts into it)....and it has
a brand new converter--its an ARTCarr 3200 or sumthing like that its in the 3K zone.


so new trans and verter,

it has the full gray leather and all
HID lights

he just put the nitrous in and its a 100 shot, window switch ,

so were talking like
14,000 ish

but it needs tires all the way round, and its got a couple scratches here and there, they could possible be wet sanded and buffed out, or i can have the car reclearcoated.


im trying to get it for lower , with the amount of money, body wise( interior is in great condition, except for the door trim )

so let me know , if i stand a good chance trying to bargin.

car went like 12.52 or sumthing like that with the crapy trans, so i thing it should go faster. ..

thats a little high for a car that could have seen some major track time and some major beatings.....dont let someone sell you mods....make them sell you the car....

that is some pretty low mileage. But with 4.11 gears in an A4, you can bet it has seen plenty of track time or street races. Those are probably a rough 28,000 miles.

^^ definately... that many mods would scare me away + at such a cheap price, cause you know that car is BEAT if they had to rebuilt the trans by 28k miles.

depends on what you are going for... if you wanat something you are gunna neat on then yea sounds like a good deal with all those mods, but if you are lookin for a good daily driver that you will occasionally run or beat on i would say to look for something more stock. With mods like that you can expect there are some if not alot of the parts on the car that have seen some serious wear and are gunna need to be maintained / replaced

beating a car isnt a bad thing if the upkeep is done right, and with that kind of stall and power i would hope it has subframes on it, I would expect to pay more for a car like that, so the price does worry me a little. money says the cars ok, but the tranny still may not be right and the rear may be going out, and 4.10 are to low of a gear with those mods and a 100 shot. also the car might use oil b/c of the 4.10's (reving all the time)

i got 00 trans am ws6, 49k miles, k&n, flows w/ cutout for $15,000 last month in CA....I threw in a nx kit for $500 and hit 12.5's w/ a bad slave(pedal sticks to floor)
