Default Mti x1 cam.

Hey guys those of you that are running this cam in your m6 how do you like it and what kind of power are you making with it. I am reaserching this cam and have done a couple searches with no luck finding the info im requesting. I am looking to have 400 hp and some good torque cam only. Will that put me there? Oh and My car previously dynod 310hp and 327 ft lbs of torque to the wheels with lid and cat back and ls6 intake.

Default 389rwhp a4

I made 389 with a a4 and 410 gears. 6 speed should get you there, depending on your bolt ons

I believe it was tested against a 230/224 and made almost the same power but with a slight decrease in torque. You could probably expect the same results that guys are getting with the TR cam. I know there are a lot of posts about it.

Best of luck with your X1 cam.

i run that cam with a M6 put down a best of 415whp and 408tq runs strong. I made more power than a MS3 car that got tuned the same day with the same mods as me. I dont see many cam only cars (or heads and cam for that matter) that make this much tq...but everycar is different

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/7...9F24231271.htm

im the furthest car away. the white Z has the TSP 233/239 but is A4. the closet red Z is a heads and cam car 224cam M6

Although from 2002, this is still a good read;

Is there any other M6 cars out there with that cam? I was hoping for more than just one M6 car. Thanks by the way 1bad02ws6.

very badly!!!!! the only time i have lost to a car with a bigger cam, the car either had nice heads or it was a stoker motor..not trying to brag but i think this cam is a great choice for anybody looking to make great power and tq have great driveability and sounds nice. If your just after a lopey sound and want to say you have a giant cam get an MS4 or Trex

Im a fan of the X1. Ran time in sig. at -500 DA. Race weight is 3330#s. Have cut a couple of 1.48s but on slower runs.
