Could have a bad connection somewhere under the hood. Usually a dim light screams that there is a bad ground connection; with it happening while it shifts makes me think that the engine movement causes the connection to move.

Thanks, I will check the alt ground. I have a slight lose of power this week too. It happened after my tank was low and I filled up with Amoco 93 octane. Then the car drove differently. It was not as peppy. I think I might have got some bad gas but this light thing and my new battery keeps having white powder on it even after I clean it and neutralize it with the battery cleaner. I thought I might have a power problem instead of a gas problem. Car was doing great though until the low fuel and added full tank.

My car does that sometimes when its cold out....headlights dim just a little when I shift. I believe its because you are dropping the RPM when you let off the gas. I tested my alternator and it was fine. I wouldnt worry about it unless they are dimming significantly.
