Default i think overdrive is goin out

i have a pro built 4l60e and a vigilante 3600 stall. my problem is when the trans warms up it seems to start slipping in o/d. the car revs up endlessly, but i can push the brake in and the revs will drop to about 700rpm and then when i give it gas again the trans doesn't slip for another mile or so down the road. i have no idea whats goin on. this tranny has about 10000 miles on it now.

Are you setting any codes and do you think its actually fourth gear thats slipping or does it seem more like the converter clutch

well the check engine light comes on maybe once a week, but only for a few minutes. im not sure what the converter clutch is and what it does. i noticed if you shift to drive and back to overdrive it doesnt slip for a few minutes also.

did you just put in the stall? if you did, you may need to get the car tuned. sometimes the stock tune doesn't get along with an aftermarket converter. you may need to have the lockup mph raised also because the lighter converters tend to slip under low mph lockup from what i've heard.
