Default set up question

I am installing a hotcam and just purchased some 918 springs with 10* retainers ect.

now I was planning on using the Impala SS head gasket and 1.6rrs but I found some 1.7rrs and was wondering if there would be clearance issues with the bigger rrs?

Some people have to modify the Valve Covers to get them to clear.

Lift doesn't cause the ptv clearance issues. It's the duration. So, yes, you'd be fine.

EDIT: Maybe I misunderstood your post.

just want to make sure with the thinner head gasket and the Duration produced by the hotcam and 1.7 there would be any contact. (using 918s)

Adding 1.7 rr's doesn't do anything to the duration.

I don't want any valve contact. I understand duration (I am sorry if I am confusing)
