did you have to put a spacer on or will they fit without it? Also, how long are the studs... I have the longer ones that moser sells with the 12 bolt, I can still use teh stock wheels and the plastic caps but they are definately longer then stock was, probbaly a 1/2 inch.

I just installed 10.5" Y2K wheels with 58mm offset on my 94 TA. They fit fine, no rubbing. But I may need to use either the BFH mod or install 1/8" spacers when I lower my car over the winter. I am hoping I can just center things with the adjustable PHB.

The 5mm difference between 53's and 58's only equals about .1968", or between 3/16" and 13/64". So a 3/16" spacer would make the offset almost the same as a 53mm wheel.

i'm already running the 18x10.5 58mm os on the rear, but i'm interested in putting around a 1/2 inch spacer (i think). Everything fits fine and i'm lowered, i just want a more aggresive look. So if anyone has done this (with this wheel) please chime in and post pics. . I just figured it would be a common thing due to the high offset of these wheels.

f50nut can you please post some pics,

thanks

I just bought C6 wheels. the are 18x10.5" for the rear. they have a 58mm offset. I test fitted them without the tires and they hit the bumpstops, but just barley. other than that, they were fine. I bought 5/16" spacers and they fit perfect now. (without the tires). they dont hit the bumpstops. But it looks like the tire might end up bein kinda close to the fender lip. Not sure yet. Waiting to get tires after X-mas. the 5/16" spacers bring the 58mm offset down to about a 50.1mm offset.

I'm running the longer studs and spacers I picked up on ebay. I milled them down to the size I wanted.

At first I didnt jack it up by the rear (I actually forgot about having to do that) and it hit the bumpstop. When I jacked it up by the rear it didnt hit, but if it hits anywhere at all with all of the suspension travel, I'm not cool with that. So i bought the spacers to make sure it will never hit. I daily drive my car and I cant be worrying about something like that. Basically, if theres a chance that I could accidently hit a bump too fast and the rear travels enough for the wheels to hit the bumpstops, I'm putting spacers.

do you know hwat thickness you milled them down to? I have a set of c5 z06 wheels (stock oem ones) I wanna put on, I'm definately gonna have to slug a spacer in there and hit the inner wheel well in a little I figure.... do you know how thick you milled the spacers you are running down to? I have the longer studs that moser puts on the 12 bolt, they're about a 1/2 inch longer then the stock ones.. so I think a 1/2 inch will be perfect, and will cut down on the beating I have to do on the inner bfender.

I'm pretty sure they're 5/8", but I'll double check for you.

Thanks. I was gonna order a set this week.. either a 1/2 inch set, or a pair of 5/16 and a set of 7/32, it would add up to a bit more then a 1/2. I'm still probably gonna have to tap that inner area in which I'm o.k. with.. I just don't want to have to blast the hell out of all of it.

Okay mine are actually closer to 1/2". Before the spacers the rubbing was minimal on the passenger side only, and might have been corrected by an adjustable panhard rod (but it still would have been close).
