Default need help with starting issue.

Ok so last night it got cold and wet out. I have very little tires on the car. The rear end spun out. I managed to keep it from hitting the pole.. however it did go up onto the curb. The car turned off at this point. It would not restart. It wouldn't crank nothing, no matter if it was in neutral and my foot was on the clutch. I left it in a nearby lot, and i'll take a look at it in the morning. Any ideas. I would turn the key to run, all the lights came on, no CEL nothing, but when put to start it wouldn't even try to crank. Any ideas??

As it turns out you were right. I caused a short in the starting circut. I also found out that my clutch switch was intermittant too.
