Pontiac GTO 2004-2006 - New GTO, trans ?

Been wanting one of these since they first came out :hail: . Having one delivered to me today. Dream come true :drive:

It won't be stock for long at all the way I am so my question is how much power can the 4L65 handle in these? I know they seem to handle the Denali weight fairly well.....

there are guys running 500rwhp, they are very good trannys i was very impressed on how firm the shifts feel throw some 3.73's and a nice stall and get that thing in the 12's all day

They will handle a good amount of power, though for how long depends on how much you abuse it. 400-450RWHP is no problem... 500RWHP will last quite a while as long as you don't beat the crap out of it IMO.

I'll start saving for the tranny if I ever install a twin turbo kit. Otherwise I'll durability test it.
