get a detroit tru trac! i love mine :)

setup the gears for something other than race! the quality of the housing, axles etc is excellent but they set the gears "tight", so it does whine a bit

Tru trac is the strongest posi out there. I ordered my 12 bolt Moser on Wedn. If you have TCS you will need a 4 channel. Good luck, I can't wait to get my hands on mine.

tru trac is detroits new gear posi. it uses gears instead of clutches to engage both wheels :judge:

The Detroit Truetrac was the first gear type limited slip differential in the industry. The patented design of parallel axis planetary helical gears provide a quiet, automatic splitting of torque. Power transfer goes literally unnoticed by the driver - even in front wheel drive axles.

The Detroit Truetrac performs like an open differential under normal driving conditions and automatically transfers torque to the wheel with better traction when ground conditions warrant. The limited slip responds instantly to torque feedback, anytime, at any speed.

Detroit Truetrac’s are engineered for front and rear axles, semi-floating (C-clip axles) and transfer cases. Proven design, low cost and effective performance all make the Detroit Truetrac limited slip the choice of professionals and traction enthusiasts everywhere.

Detroit Truetrac's patented helical gear design puts it way ahead of the competition. Tough proven design means - long life, no maintenance and a smooth ride. Quickly becoming the new superstar of Traction.

-Fully Automatic Limited Slip
-Performs Open, Until Needed
-Improved Handling
-Smooth Operation
-No Friction Plates
-Easy Installation
-One Year Warranty

Unless your going to buy all the parts and put it together yourself, buy it from someone that sets them up themselves and knows what their doing.

I would buy the true trac over the eaton posi as there are no clutches to wear out.
