Default Is the trap door measurements in a 98 the same as the LT1

I want to make sure but I think the trap door measurements I need are the same for the LT1 cars. I have a 98 with the metal tank. The link I was able to find shows for the LT1. Just want to be 100% sure before I start.

Where did you guys find the instructions on changing out the fuel pump for '98's? I will probably be doing mine within the next few months and need to read up on it some. TIA!

This is the link I used, note: sometimes this will not work other times it is perfect. If you get it to work print it out right away. It was a real pita to keep checking the link to see if it was working yet.

Its self explained once you get it out and get a look at it. I went to the hardware store and bought a short section of rubber hose and used it to take up the slack between the original bracket and the new Walbro pump. The original pump is a larger diameter than the Walbro so you need something to take up the gap to keep the new pump from vibrating. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow if I remember since its still appart.

Don't cut a hole - Drop the tank! You only need to remove the exhaust AND the rear end to make that happen - No problem!

Had I know how easy it would be cut the access hole, I would have never dropped my tank...
