Talking My TSP Shopping Cart.what do you think

well im getting ready to pull the triger and call TSP and make my order but man it adds up quick lol .started out with a budget of 800 for cam swap .But after looking at some threads i decided i needed some more parts and ended up adding a couple more hundred to the list but figure better to do it right the first time. DAMN MOD BUG lol. any way so far this is what im gettin

TSP Torquer 2 cam
PRC double springs
Harden chromeoly pushrods
GM ls2 Timing Chain
LS6 oil pump
GM camshaft gaskit kit

so far id added up a total to $825.97 and thats parts and i will be having a shop in ky to install and tune.THE horse power house. so ill figure roughly 700 for install and tune so that ups me to $1525.97. More than i thaught but this should be a safe and reliable 380 hp with mods listed below hoping for that HP anyway. what you guys think am i forgeting anything

I would do a pulley. I did my Cam install last year and it was not too bad as long as you have the right tools. Take a look at this for the tools and a few things you might need to buy:
http://www.bowlingss.com/Mods/Instal...stallation.mht

I made 401HP with a torquer 1 cam.

you should be over 380.

Additional parts.. locks and retainers, electric water pump, pulley, heads, 90/90.

Well that is what I did when I went to a new cam. But thats JUST me.

I wish you the best and I think your car will be very powerful. Have fun and dont get discouraged about the price. The first time you dust a car you will feel all better.

TSP is the s*@t. Let us know how it turns out and I would agree, do it yourself. Unless you have no mechanical ability.

yes i have debated on goin ahead and getin some heads wile im their but i think ill do the cam swap first because this will be the fastest car i have owned with the cam. so ill get use to the way it feels for a month or two then decide on which heads i think will best suit me .but like the old sayings mod the hell out of your car and 2 months later you fell like your runnins 16s again .speed is addictive and yes i am a adicted but o well best addiction their is in my book

Not everyone has the ability to do installs on their cars, for that matter alot of people that try to do their own installs mess things up. If you have not done a swap before, ATLEAST have a knowledgeable guy around to watch you and make sure nothing goes wrong. A cam install may not be that big of a deal for some folks, but it could cost others an engine.

ls1chris & Randy WS6:

If N4cer is talking about Bluecat then I highly recommend you guys let him tune your cars. He really knows his **** and will do it for a great price. I had a buddy from here in North Carolina follow me home just so Bluecat could tune his car ( 1000 mile round trip) so that has to tell you something. PM me if you guys want his number
