I have a 306 B&P'd with P&P'd Edelbrock heads, E303 cam, stock 19# injectors, stock MAF, SVO intake, 3.73's and lots of other stuff.

Don't think they're all like that though... there are some beasts out there.

That being said, they are significantly (extremely) under-powered by comparison.

yeah, I use to have a 94 gt before buying my SS. Kinda hard to compare the two, no need to really, the outcome is obvious. different level of cars, the 5.0 is 220 h.p. stock right. You may have close to 300 with the heads and stuff. The ls1 is an amazing engine.

Haha, you guys all know my built 5.0? As soon as I fix my SES light (AIR system) they will be duking it out (from a roll as I am not here to test my Dad's launching abilities). I dont have a vid but there will be a commentary!

sweet. the meanest mustang ive ever rode in...it has accomplished the impossible, harmony between chevy and ford. chevy 355 single turbo, 872hp, in an LX fox body, ford 9 inch rear end, and a built 400 turbo. the guy had the most bad *** window sticker ive ever seen "Built Ford Tough with Chevy Stuff."

On another note, I had a 4.6 GT before my SS and theres no comparison, the SS would lay the smack down, and has, even on a couple mach's, though those cars can bite you in the *** if youre not careful.
