Default Budget turbo kit... Who has em?

Looking for a budget turbo kit. Most of the ones I've seen are around 4 grand. I suppose this might be the norm for a single turbo kit.

FI an't cheep, so I don't think there IS a budget turbo kit.... Unless I hack it... but that's a nono. I can't do an STS kit cause: 1- I have headers, 2- the ground clearance ant that great. The intake piping runs UNDER the front K member. I'm lowered and have enough ground clearance issues.

No kit that is that cheap is worth putting on your car. Save those budget FI kits with cheap parts for the Hondas! STS is the cheapest but even with 4K you'd be hard pressed to complete an turbo kit since the prices goes up as the process goes on.

$4000-5000 is the norm for a single kit. There are plenty of other companys with nice kits out there. Check out some of the sponsors here. You should be able to find something.

If it's right and fast, it ain't cheap.

It's amazing how often this is true.

good luck with using "cheap" in your build, take what you plan on spending and double it to cover yourself, read the sticky titled "THE REAL PRICE OF FORCED INDUCTION"

You get what you pay for, and going cheap usually means you will end up spending twice as much later on. Save up and get a system that you can depend on, that you won't regret buying later.

There is a very nice twin kit coming soon for the F-body, and if it's anything like the current GTO kit from this company, it will be real nice!

About the least expensive non-STS system will be the TTi street kit.

If you want budget, sell your NA stuff and start building a truck manifold kit.

Not sure how much mine was altogether, but the exhaust and ic was $300, turbo was about a $1000, FMIC was $200, piping and other things were probably $1500 maybe 2000. And about $1000000000000000 worth of my time, blood sweat and tears :-)
