Default Those of you with the ws9 hoods.

I am about to invest some money into a ws9 hood and i want to know how the fitment was for you all. Good? Bad? U.S. Exotics? VFN hoods? or what? Thanks alot. Want to spend my money wisely.

I have a US Exotics as well and the fitment was really good. The only problem mine has it hits the airlid. No big deal but it wears off the paint on both the lid and hood in that little spot.

I test fit the hood for VFN when it was being produced. Just based off of an initial test fit, plus owning 2 of their hoods, I can assure you that the fitment and quality are top notch. You definitely will not be let down!

search for "us exotics hoods" in google and youll find a site with pics of roger's hoods, but he only sells them on ebay. and only one every other week or so. as per him in his reply to me today, he still sells the regular ws9 hoods (read: not the outlaw version...), the super firehawk hood and the diamondback hood for the vipers. he did sell the WS9 OUTLAW hood to vfn, they are the only place to get the ws9 outlaw hood anymore.

anyone have any pics of the vfn outlaw hood installed? id just like to be able to see it on a car cause the pics on vfn's site are from akward angles...

I can confirm that Roger @ U.S. Exotics is still making the WS9 hood (I just bought one last month), just not in the quantities that he used to.

Did your light rub against your driver side causing the scuff on the hood?

OK, here's the pics of the VFN WS9 Outlaw hood when I did the test fit well over a year ago. KEEP IN MIND: THESE PICTURES ARE OF A TEST FIT! NOT THE FINAL PRODUCT! I didn't get to test the final mold, but I'm sure it fit even better than the hood I tried out, which was already fitting pretty awesome.
