Default PP Typhoon Intake - For Sale Yet? How much?

I'm looking to get one if the price is right. It might not be as great as the FAST setup, but to me, the looks alone make up for the hp loss.

I tried Byunspeed's website and it appears to be down right now.

I did a search and saw that a few of them have been sold already here on the board.

Good luck with them. Hopefully they've fixed their poor qc issues. Do some reading before you buy, and I would make sure you can return it with no restock fee.

As far as I know, there are no "poor quality control issues." However, we are currently not shipping these manifolds waiting to clear up some installation issues that have to do with the accessories in the kit, not the manifold itself. We should be releasing them for sale in approximately 30 days. We found that the intake gaskets we supply are too thin and are having new gaskets made. These new gaskets will also incorporate a silicone bead for better sealing.

I now see them on eBay for $426. Seems like a great price for a manifold that dyno'd so well against the Weiand. Would like to see how well it does against the FAST 90 before I dropped any cash though...

If it performs as well or better than the LS6, I'll take it based on looks alone. My setup is never going to be aggressive enough to see a big gain from a FAST intake, I'm looking for the polished version to add bling under the hood...

I ordered one the middle of November and am still waiting on the rest of the order(fuel pressure regulator is supposed to have been shipped - if you have a early fbody LS1 you will need it if there is a little 'bung' on the fuel rail with a hose heading for the fuel tank) along with some new installation parts from Professional Products including a new T and newly designed intake gaskets which are supposed to be here middle of February

Wow, that's a crazy long time to wait for parts.

I'd almost consider this intake if it wasn't for all these hiccups and seeing how long people wait for parts.
