Default drag radial poll

Well its time for some new tires. Currently have nitto 315/35r17 drag radials on the rear best 60 ft is a 1.82. My car has 525rwhp and more to come as i have a smaller pully on the way.

I was wondering what you high horse power guys are running out back in stock 17" wheels.

its either gonna be
315/35r17 nittos again, or
275/40r17 MT steet radials(they dont make 315's that im aware of)

thanks for any info/results

with that much rwhp if your really want to keep your 315/35/17s go with a bfg. drag radials. i herd they perform awsome!!
but i also herd good things a bout the M/t tire
im runnin nitto nt555r on my car
in a 315/35/17 and im putin down 360rwhp
and i think that there ok
but nothing great.

I'm putting down over 590 RWHP on my 275/40ZR17 Nitto Extreme 2R DR's, and believe it or not, they hook pretty darn good! Obviously 1st gear is out of the question, but I get decent traction from 2nd gear up.

BTW, I also have full drag suspension and pulled the front end up 2 inches with a set of slicks back when I was still N/A.

I would go with the 315 bfgs that what i have and they hook so much better than the 315 nittos i had. they dont last as long but still help up for 6-9000 miles depnding on how many times i used the line lock. I also think that mickey thompson is doing a 315 dr and i am not sure when they come out or if they are already out. Goodyear also has some new 315 dr's that look similiar to the MT DR

Nittos if u want longevity and a good amount of hook... def not the best, but still good... BFG is the medium, with ok longevity and streetability in the weather, but hook better than the nittos, then MT streets hook the best but are the worst in bad weather and dont last long at all...

It depends on what your looking to do. Do want traction? Or do you want them to last a long time? Do you dd and you want decent weather d/r?? I cut a 1.7 60 ft on 275/40r17 mickeys if you want traction get the mickeys!
