what cam with TSP 5.3 stage2.5 heads
I have tr224/1112 RIGHT NOW AND just received my TSP 5.3 heads and im happy with the driveability with the TR224,but want something that would give better numbers thanwhat i have 350rwhp cam only(A4)thinking with the heads ill be around 390 with the pulley i got to go with the heads, but want something to give better numbers and start power down low and relatively easy to tune.Dont know if Ill def. swap the cam but just wanted some combos and numbers with these heads(A4).Ill also be adding N20 in the spring

this is easy.... MS3 on a 113 LSA (no flycutting with those heads using stock gaskets)
it LOVES the juice as well, i realize that it is a bit of a top end cam, BUT, youll have some low end kick with the smaller 5.3 runners AND youll spray lower in the power band...and will EASILY get you over 400 RWHP...
That is what I am going with...BTW how long did it take to get your 5.3 heads??
I ordered like a week ago..

ahh
the specs are 237/242 and a little over .600 lift on both valves....the dual springs on the heads are MORE than enough for this cam...
I will be honest with you though..and I am sure others will agree...on an m6 with 4.10's, the ms3 is A LOT more streetable than an auto...with your stall, id go smaller...say a 228R, I think you will LOVE the 228R....anyone else have any thoughts?

I may just leave the TR224/112 cam Im not sure if the 10-15 horses is really worth it and the 224 is very streetable cam, although Ihave looked at the 228 cams but like I said not sure if the extra 10 - 15 is worth it.I mean thats just more money that can be put towards N20 extras
