Default Fattest tire

Sorry.... I read the stickies, and looked around a bit, but to no avail.

Im just wondering if I can fit 315s on the stock Trans am wheel. Im going to be ordering some Nittos or something, just wanna know how fat I can go.

Some times it takes quite a bit of poking around to find it. As a matter of safety, a 275/40 Drag radial on a 17x9 wheel is what is recommended.

275/40ZR17 or 285/40ZR17 thats it . . . End of Discussion.

FYI, stock wheels are 9" wide . . .
