Default 6.o drive by wire

i was just wonder if any of you all could help me out i have a 6.0 that is drive by wire and i need to know what i need to do convert it to throttle cable i know i will need a new throttle body witch i have and someone told me that i would need a new wireing harness i have a wrecked 99 chevy with a 5.3 what i was wondering is do i need the harness or can i ues the one that came with the 6.0 any help would be great

it is going a s10 . i do not have the drive by wire TB or the pedel assy

Well you will need to run a different harness then, or you will have to run some things from the pcm to the throttle body, Which, is just as much of a pain as the other route.

Computer wise you can make it work, but it would require a completly different Tune. The pcm tune in it now wont control the Idle air control valve.

Sometimes it is easier and less stressfull to just buy the drivebywire tb and the pedal/TAC module. Everything just plugs in.
