Default Lifters - Caddie vs LS7

i just order a H/C combo - MS4 w/PRC LS6. my car has 59,000 miles so i am thinking of replacing the lifters while the heads are off. im not sure if getting the Caddie Lifters or just go with the ls7 lifters which would you recommend and why?

Thank for your input

The LS7 lifters are now the standard stock replacement part for LS1, LS2, & LS6 motors.

....And, they are a slight improvement over their predecesors, wheras the "Caddie" ones are from the racing program, and are capable of much higher RPMs.

Why do it twice and just sufficient. For another 25$ get the best out there besides the Morel (and that is the Cadi. lifters)

I agree. My valve train sounds almost stock with a good size cam, 921's, .110 push rods and Cadillac Racing lifters.

i dunno if this it true or not but....
the valve springs on the racing caddies springs are very stiff, so they are stronger....

I'd just get the LS7 lifters for $100 & call it a day.

If it were my motor, I would buy the Caddy lifters. Nothing beats R&D from a GM race team(for our cars)!

I would just go with the cady lifers. Theyre one of the best available for these motors, and you cant beat that price for the amount of R&D that went into them. Look up the orignial post were SDPC anounced them and make an informed decision for yourself.
