Just wanted to stop in and say hello. Just picked up my new 02 SS yesterday and am very happy with it. This car is the shitz...The car is in mint condition with 70K on it. Took it out for a nice looong ride and was really impressed. Now I have two of the four Camaro's I have always wanted.

Still looking for a 67 or 69 and a 70 1/2 split bumper and my collection will be complete. I have had 5 camaro Z28's in the past year (84,85,94,95,02). This will be my pleasure ride so I can take the 85 off the road and work on getting it track ready to run 10's..Merry Christmas everyone!! WOOT!

Well I did some research and I am not sure I do. I have the 35th ann badge in the car but no striping outside. This is new to me. I will check on it.

LOL...I need to have that looked at by a professional. Don't like it that way at all. The system cost 4K and you would think the guy who installed it could at least make it look pretty. One of my projects this year. I also need another cap...

Yuh....I believe all the special ann cars were red. Could be wrong though. However, I still love my car. It is by far the nicest Camaro I have owned thus far.

Every 2002 is an anniversary car, the red is the Limited Edition.

Good for you, I also just picked up my 2000M6 Red with only 31,000miles on her, now I have to keep all those non licensed 80 year old men away from it, and I'll be good to go. I'll miss my 98black SS but I'm just glad to own another one of these cars. :)

Sure it' s nice, I' m not knocking it in anyway. One benefit to it not being the limited edition model, is you' ll have less reasons NOT to drive it. A lot of people that have those models (of any year) never drive them. It' s very sad! :(

very nice car. not to crazy about the system. i had one in my TA for about a week and took it out because i couldnt stand not having t-top space and i definately wasnt putting the tops in the back seats. plus i couldnt hear it over the exhaust anyways but still a very nice car

I love this system. It kicks ass big time. The drawback is no ttops in the back as you mentioned. I will look into fixing all that soon. Thanks for all the comments guys.

Nice SS. Pewter is a very nice color but i'm biased. But you definately need to do something with the system. That stuff is a mess. My trunk is full of speakers and amps because T-tops are not that important. I wish i had a hard top anyway.

It's funny how pewter is such a love or hate color on this website, more than any other color.

Nice car. Have fun.

i dont know if you knew this or not but theres a way around having no t-top space with the sub. my friend has a 01 Z28 and he bought a box from i believe JL that fits in that space to the left if your standing at the back looking in the trunk. he had 1 and my friend that has a 99 TA also had that box. hits pretty nice and it fits perfectly into that little hole. just a thought....

You' re absolutely right. That' s the JL Audio Stealthbox, it housed one 10" sub. Can you do me a favor and as your buddies what they paid for it? JL doesn' t sell it on the net, ONLY through dealers, and I can' t find a price. There is a dealer here, but I feel like an asshole walking into a stereo shop, and asking for a price on something I may not buy, until like 2 years from now.

sure i can ask them. theres also a local shop here that makes them but its not the JL name. its a pro box but in the same shape and form. they both took their systems out and i believe they still have the boxes if ud like 1 i can get prices from both if youd like.

I am aware of what you are saying. I already have a box that fits in that spot. It was used in a 95 Z28. I think it fits in the 02 as well. Anyway, the reason I haven't put it there is because the sub I have has to breath alot. Until I get a different one it will have to do for now. It sure sounds awesome though...

www.subthump.com

That's where I got my stealth box from. Ended up being about $100 cheaper than JL's setup with a Alpine Type R sub
