Question Can a bad Spark Plug Cause the Rest of the Plugs Fowl out?

If say you got one plug with the Tab over the electrode is burned away ,can it cause the rest of the plugs to Carbon Foul?Like throwing the engine off Kilter?
I have always thought if one cylinder wasnt fireing right would effect the ramaining cylinders.....Thanks

My guess is that the one cylinder went dead. So, that cylinder was pumping unburnt air into the exhaust system, giving the computer indication of a lean condition. The computer then richens up everything in an attempt to get back to stoichiometric. This causes the other 7 cylinder to run overly rich and fould the plugs.

it would show the dead cylinder as a rich condition with the un-burned fuel. what caused the first one to fowl?

The WBO2 sensor looks at the amount of remaining oxygen in the exhaust stream. Extra unburnt fuel doesn't affect the reading, but extra oxygen does.

I've run engines rich enough so that you start mis-firing cylinders, but it actually indicates lean on the WBO2 due to the un-burnt O2 in the exhaust.
