ecm/pcm

I am wanting a diablosport predator tuner and the 98 cars are not supported. Do you guys know if I can swap a 99-02 pcm/ecm in to a 98 camaro z-28?

do a search on this topic...its alot more involved then a simple pcm swap, people have done it, but it can be a major pita.

I just read somewhere that the pin outs are different. So I am going to forget it

pin outs, I think the gauge cluster needs to be changed, not sure what else, like I said it just sounds like a complete pita. Just buy a decent software package & call it a day, in the end you'll be better off.

I am looking at hp tuners, but the diablosport seemed like a easy fix. But no worries. All in good time. I just did not want to have to buy a lap top...Oh well
