look, each company has there cams ground on different lobes, so you have similar durations and lifts but different ramp speeds and well, it gets really complicated. you best bet is to talk to each company and ask them how that paticular cam fits in a what situation. all of them are fairly large cams. and to tell you, if you get a large cam you have to be able to deal with it for a daily driver if thats what your using it for. so, you should call them, and use the search, look in the vids section to hear the different cams and maybe see some track runs and really dwell into it before you lay the money down.

Best bet, go straight to the horses mouth. Call Comp Cam help line and desighn the cam yourself with their help. They can match your goals and desires exactly to a cam profile.

My vote is for the TSP 233/239 because that's the exact cam I got 2 weeks ago, got it dynotuned about a week and a half ago @ TSP. I put down 406rwhp/374rwtq through my moser 9" w/ 4.11's. It has a very nice lope to it, driving it around the only thing you sacrifice is low end so it's not as easy to leave lights driving around town, all it takes is a small blip of the throttle and you would drive it just like stock after that. My recommendation is to get the mcleod adjustable clutch master cylinder also, I am about to order one because for some reason I can't quite adjust to the cam and I need the clutch to engage a little lower on the pedal because I don't let out on the clutch all the way now before I get on the gas a little more and it makes for a bumpy ride and can't be good for the clutch.

RUSTYTA has the 233/239 and made 422rwhp/399rwtq through his 12 bolt w/ 3.73's, very nice numbers. I'd imagine i'd make close to 420 with a 10 or 12 bolt. Jason @ TSP said it's about average to make about 415rwhp with full bolt-ons.

It's a very fun cam, hope you have some sticky tires, i'm gonna have to ditch these sumitomo's if I keep hammering it on the street cause I keep losin the rear.

We can custom spec a cam for you, our 232/240 cam with et heads made H/C 507rwhp in an 05 GTO. Since your looking for an aggressive cam you could consider LSK lobes.

If it was me I'd order from Thunder Racing. Same price as anyone else and you get a free Cam Pro Plus report on your cam.

Since they are all very similar I would have to say X2 or 233/239.

TSP all the way. They have the V2 though at 113 and it idles nice. Thats the 4th cam I ended up with in my SS. Then get 59cc heads to make up compression and you will have a violent lowend as well. Thats what I had and I never lost a street race.

Well... I have a G5-X2 114 sitting on my workbench!

I went LGM because they road race what they make... yes I know comp cuts the cam, but LG has a excellent track record for making big power in LSXs (esp vettes) while retaining lots of low end torque.

I liked that I could order the kit and not have to worry about which valve seats and retainers go w/ 921's and which length pushrods do I need? etc etc.

Car should make about 430 rwhp.

The pushrod length should be measured. LS1 motors with stock lifters like preload.
The X2 cam card is on this board, it can be done cheaper if you're buying the parts and doing install.
X cams are on XE-R lobes (at least till X3) and can be duplicated easily.

No, because they are all basically the same cam if chosen on the same LSA/ICL
and they are all Comp Cams.

For stock ci/nitrous price is $379 for custom grind cam, most stroker motors are $379. Forced induction custom cams are $399.
