I don't consider myself an expert, but what's your question.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/628997-here-another-quick-clip-my-true-duals.html

Here is a thread i posted the other day. What you guys think of the clips? can you hear the slight droney sound? How can i get rid of that? My mufflers are right behind the tips if that matters. TIA guys!

i like spiro flows at idle, but under load to me they are too high pitched for my taste. Most ture dual set ups that are dumped are going to drone a little. You can always them out the back

The sewing machine thing is pretty normal...mine does it too. It is much more pronounced when cold, but quiets down as it warms up. As for the drone...really, I think you'd need bigger mufflers to keep that to a minimum. Mine does it around 2000 or so RPMs, but it isn't bad at all. I tried cruising in 5th gear for giggles, and it wasn't really any louder at all...it was all load dependent. The more you push the pedal, the more drone there is.

I listened to all the clips, and they all sound good! It sounds like it's supposed to with an hpipe, and there is no rasp.

You have a cam and valvetrain, so it's going to be slightly different sounding that most of the bolton cars with true duals. But I think it's well within the normal range.

The only way you are going to change the sound drastically from what it is now, is to go with new mufflers. But that's a last resort (I think it sounds fine as it is), but just for discussion a set of Borla XR1s will deepen the sound alot or alternatively, a set of Magnaflow tube-type mufflers would sound a little lower as well.

But if I were you I wouldn't worry about the minimal sewing machine sound that you can hear, because it's well within the normal operating range.

On an interesting note, you can hear the difference between this and other true duals that are xpipe design, whereas this is an hpipe. I can tell a little more deepness and less exotic nature to the sound, and I think it sounds very good!
