Default Who makes the best Ls1 air Lid??

Right now im looking at buying a Granatelli Motorsports Cold Air Lid, i know that there is SLP, and a Whisper Lid. Just wondering if one is better than the other; fit wise and flow wise? Thanks for your feedback?

Really they're all about the same....some of the clear types used to have a problem with durability and sometimes with sealing onto the stock air box...but performance wise the lids and the CIA's are essentially equal

barely, could have been from the air tempature making the difference. u will never notice in ur E.T.s or MPH with the difference in the lids...if there are any.

IMO SLP makes the highest quality lid, I've owned 3...SLP is my 4th and I love it.

A lid is a lid is a lid is a lid.

They all perform about the same. The only difference is fitment and aesthetic qualities. I've got an SLP lid. been on for about 4 years. No problems. I like the Clear MTI lids but I hear they crack over time... SOME of them.

I'd vote for the SLP lid simply due to better construction than most. It is a heavy, well-made piece that seals to the air filter very well.

SLP uses a unique construction technique compared to the other brands, looks great under the hood, very clean. I just got mine and I am not dissappointed.

I have had my SLP for a few months no problems and easy fitment.

My vote is SLP FTW
