Flipped Truck manifolds in a G-body?
I did some searching, both on this forum, and on www.turbomustangs.com, and I haven't found the info I need. Has anybody tried flipping truck manifolds on a GenIII/G-body swap? I have located a very sweet GN roller (cage, 9 inch, etc.), and I am trying to decide which route to take in the the powertrain build-up.
If I can make a set of truck manifolds work, then I might go the Gen III route. But, to be honest, I am leaning heavily towards a standard SBC build. I've located parts to be able to go either way, but I know that if I go 'old-school' way, I'll be stuck fabbing a set of headers.
Thanks for the help guys.

BLWN1 has it figured out. I'm talking about flipping them forward for a turbo set-up. The car is completly setup and dialed in chassis-wise, I'm just trying to figure out what to do about the power plant. I have sweet BBC that works very nice on the jug, but I really want to play with a turbo combination, whether it be a GEN III or SBC.
C'mon, I know somebody has to have tried it.

you cannot run truck manifolds pointing down. the drivers side sits on the steering box and the pass side sits halfway on the frame. you can point them up if you want, but i think that looks like ***. My combo is in my sig, and i have a post on here if you search my name.
