Curb Rashed my front left wheel today!!!!!

Curb Rashed my front left wheel today!!!!! I was driving to my cousins for a christmas party, and while i was driving a leaf went into my window channel, so i started dickin aroudn trying to get it out 
and drifted to the side a little without knowing, and wasn't i luckly, a median that was about a foot off the ground, sounded like i blew the damn tire. i was PISSSSED and still am. I have the 10 spoke silver ss wheels. i stopped at the next turn and i was freakin out, the paint powdered all over the tire and it looked 10 times worse than it actually was.....after spraying some water on it and gettin the dirt off, it isnt that bad, but at 50 mph and a hard *** hit, it really isnt that bad. all the more reason to get my new rims i guess

I remember when I first got my car. I was leaving campus and a damn semi decided to make a wide turn into the driveway I was in. So I moved my car further over to the right side of the road.
I didnt realize how close I was to the curb and ran my side skirt up on to it. I has 3 scratches running along the bottom edge of the skirt. I pulled over and wanted to cry that I had screwed up my new car a week after I had it.
These cars definitely have a learning curve to them when you come from a big SUV.
