Suggest a cam for new heads
I have a set of Patriot's CNC'ed 243 castings being delivered today. My car is an A4 with 3.23's and a 3500 stall. Right now its a DD, but hopefully will be a weekend/nice day car in the next month or so. I really don't want to go with one of the super high lift cams to conserve spring life. I'm leaning towards the MS3, but I've really only looked at TSP & Thunder Racing cams so far. If it's possible with the head/cam combo, I'll probably also go with .040 gaskets to lower compression a bit. May also install nitrous and 3.73's within the next year, so I'd like to future-proof the head/cam combo too.

Its not something you can do on your own. You get people here telling you to do what they did becasue what they did is best. When spec'ing a cam you need to take the whole setup into account. Not just heads and stall but compression, weight and exaust as well. I had LME spec me a cam when they built my short block. They use cam motion to grind it.
I have a 234/240 112 lsa .637/.641 but I wouldnt recomend it to you, I dont know a whole lot about stalls but I think yours would not work very well with my cam. Call a sponsor. Call a few sponsors and get different opinions. A custom ground cam is the best thing you can do.
I love the way my car perculates in the morning.
