I just want to say that the right fog light is aimed a little higher on purpose...

I live in the woods and I want the right side of the road lit up in the trees so I can see those damn deer......and I wish I could aim the left one up a lil more, but then I'd be blinding people.......so yes the are not the same height, but that's on purpose.

I second the 140, its well worth the loot. You wont regret it, the last pair of fogs you'll ever buy...Unless you hit a deer, that is, like someone here.. er-hem, :cough:

PIAA 1100 = NO HID

'Bulb Type 12V - Dichroic 55watt=85watt Super White'

I've had a set on my T/A for a couple years now - I regularly drive at dusk without the headights - could drive all nite actually with just the DL's

Good price too - I usually see them for around $179...

BTW, Nice car and even nicer house!

Hey - yes you can use the factory wiring to do it.

All I did was cut the connector for the stock lights off. Then I cut the connectors provided with the fog lights and left some wire to manipulate. I then stripped both the wires on the car, and the wires cut from the install kit. Twisted them together, and put some shrink wrap around it. Works well

Those aren't fog lights. That's why they're so bright. That's definitely a driving light beam pattern. Driving lights function along with your high beams to better illuminate long distances. Fog lights, on the other hand, will have a sharp cutoff that's low to the ground, to better illuminate the ground near the car in bad weather, along with your low beams.

If you use those alongside your low beams, you'll blind the crap out of other drivers. Driving lights should be wired to come on with your high beams, exactly opposite the way the stock fog lights work.

You could also install them without cutting the factory wiring. Here is how I installed aftermarket foglights on my Formula.

I suppose I will lower them a lil more and aim the right one a lil more to the right just in case....

I just did do the mod where the fogs stay on with the high beams so that's great.

You can aim them down all you want, but it still won't solve the problem. It's a fundamentally different type of lamp. The beam pattern is long and thin, where a fog light is low and wide. They're awesome lights, but i'd suggest wiring them to work with your high beams only. Oncoming traffic will thank you.

I started feeling bad for people tongiht so I made a low and high setting for them...

Couldn't figure out how to make them come on with highs only.... I know I could prob just splice a wire to the high bulbs, but i didn't wana burn out any fuses or wires......

Any ideas?
