2002 ta questions.. well im looking around and our family "car dealer" as i can say has an 02 ta w/ 48k miles on it.. 1 owner.. i drove it, rides great no piston slap or tick from the rockers.. in personal experience do you think 48k miles is high? how long have ls1's known to last with respected maintenance?

With the proper maintance they should last well over 150000 on stock internals. If you want to you could always rebuild it arround 150000 and build a stroker with forged internals and that should last you another 200000+. Go for it i love mine and would not hesitate to buy another. Good luck to you
