Default 2nd gear "kicks"

When i am at light throttle and shift from 1-2 it "kicks" back towards 1st VERY SLIGHTLY before snicking into gear, no grinding, and no noise accompanies this. WHen I get on it more (3500rpm shifts), it does fine, downshifting from a higher gear to 2nd also does fine, it does this mainly and more noticeably (still slight) when cold. Do I have an issue or is this normal?

(01 M6 WS6 Hurst shifter).

You honestly are the most paranoid person I have ever seen about a car. Your car needs to get a new home because you snippet at everything and your car just needs to be driven!

Just go drive, damn.

gotta love those insightful comments that answer all your questions and remind you why you decided to look for information on an automotive forum in the first place!

Mine does all sorts of 'fun' stuff when cold, I think you're ok.
