Default How come so few 1500hp LSx's?

I am building a new setup and was just looking around to see how everyone else did it. But I can only find one above 1200hp really. Well I know pretty much what I am gonna do already. But still just curious.

lol, most tend to street drive their lsx based fbodys, gtos, and vettes. 1500 hp is a bit on the edge.

oh yea, and there is budget for 1500 hp. if you have, more power to you. if you are going from a mid 11 second car to a 1500 hp car, good luck and be safe.

I know of a few, but they are pretty much race only. Does not make sense for street car. Anything over 500-600 on the street is just a reason to buy tires

Also (I could be completely wrong) but isnt there an issue with lifting the cylinder heads with that much boost due to the number/way the head bolts are setup?
