Default Chewing up the drivetrain

I have an '05 GTO with the following drivetrain mods, Stg.2 tranny incl. shiftkit, 3600 stall, TM removed, tuned shiftpoints...I don't want to name vendors to incline maybe its a problem with their product so I'll keep it general, the car is making over 410rwhp but the problem is its constantly chewing up the LOW/REV sprag, this is the 4th time in 3 months, I just had the torque converter readjusted and noticed a extremely LOUD BANG on acceleration, my mechanic suggested a fluid spike (of course it wouldn't do it for him) well it did it again today and I lost OD & D yet again, could someone please help me with what might be causing this to occur? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Will.

To answer that I at least would need to see exactly whats occuring when you get the trans out and you or whomever tears it downs take some pics of what actually happened .
Theres no such thing as a 3&4 input sprag Im guessing you mean the input sprag .
But Im curious what does the car actually do , Do you mean it wont move in od and d but will move in manual 2nd and 1st , If so that would be the low sprag that failed ,

Usually the input sprag fails on hard acceleration in high h/p applications, and it's rare. It takes a whole lot of energy to break that part, especially if it is the dual cage unit. Is your builder installing the dual cage sprag or the OEM replacement? I have not once seen the dual cage unit fail. Is your builder replacing the races as well? One may be cracked by now. Yours is a highly unusual problem. Pics would be useful.

Thanks for the response and yes its the OD and D that have gone out again, 2 and 1 are fine so I guess its the LOW/REV sprag as you suggested Performabuilt, I'll take pics as soon as they get it apart tomorrow and post them up for you all to analyze, any idea what would cause the hard bang I felt twice on accelerating before it went out, if felt as if someone had slammed a 20lb. sledge into the diff. Yes they did install the dual caged input sprag in the upgrade after the OEM failed. Edited post ^^ thank you for the correction Performabuilt.
