Default ImpalaSS LS1 conversion

Hey guys, here are some pics of my ImpalaSS with the head/cam ls1 in it. To be added will be a vortech v-9 w/aftercooler, but I need some help with determining what type and where to bolt an a/c compressor to the car. The blower bolts to the drivers side and the aftercooler bolts to the passenger side on top of the valve cover and near the the throttle body. Shoot me some ideas, pics, solutions, etc!

Thanks and enjoy!

What about ditching the Vortech Aftercooler and using a standard universal intercooler mounted in front or something. There looks to be a lot of room and all you would have to fab up is the piping. That way you could use a standard high mount a/c mount like I've seen before...

Just a suggestion.

I had an LT1 w/procharger and f/m ic on this car, then wanted to go w/Ls1 setup. I like the least amount of space used for the i/c on the vortech, and didnt want to have air to travel as far. I am still debating this thought, but I also have a purchase being made for the i/c parts too, so I dont want to let the seller down.

My upper radiator hose was a brand new hose from my old Lt1. In addition, I am sending the donor and original b-body harness to speed scene wiring to have them make a new harness. Costs a lil to get the job done, and I guess thats why I am on a fixed income....lol

My contact number is 949-254-3383.

Sweet car. I'm working on a 9C1 Caprice. What headers and oil pan did you use?
