Default ZR1 front dimensions?

I have a set but they are not at home right now and I'm trying to deterime my tire options on the front for Autocrossing.

So are they 9.0" or 9.5" ID. It makes a difference of 275/40 17's or 295/35 17's for the front tires. I already know that the rears will be 315/35 17 on the 11"

I know my WS6 rims are 9.0" and would not go bigger than 275 on them.

Thanks in advance!

As long as they are ZR1 wheels, or ZR1 wheel replicas, they are 9.5" If they are stock ZR1 style from a Camaro SS, then they are 9"

I didn't know they made a 295/35/17

I have ZR1 wheels from AFS, and I am running 275/40/17s on them....actually have a new set of BFG KD coming as I type this.

They are an aftermarket set of ZR1's 9.5(I guess) front and 11 rear.

The 295/35 17 is a Hoosier A6 DOT race radial tire. Kuhmo also makes a V710 295/40-17 DOT race radial tire. I do not think anyone makes a street tire in these sizes. The tread wear is like 30 and they each use 2 radial grooves for wear indication.

Well, if Hoosier says a 9.5" wheels is enough for a 295 tire, then go for it. Because the only ZR1 wheels that I know off that are 9" are the stock SS wheels.

Most 295's I know of require a 10" wide wheel. . . .

Hoosier quotes 9.5" as a minimum for theirs and Kuhmo says 10".

There is a small difference in rolling diameter as well. Just looking at all my options here. I have the ZR1 rims already and they had been in use for street duty, but they have been replaced by a shiny new set of TT M's. So I was considering taking the WS6 rims out of duty and bringing the ZR1 in for the autocross use and hopefully go a little quicker. I really need forward bite out of the rear tires with my motor and gearing for autocross.

My car as a whole is a compilation of comprimses. Trying to street drive, autocross and drag race the same car is a tricky line to walk, when it is heavily modified. Plus I like to put it in the odd car show.
