Default TR224 as a turbo cam, what do you think?

My setup is stock bottom end 346, 6.0 heads, and currently a 03 Z06 cam. My turbo setup is going to be either a single T76 with truck manifolds or the upcoming APS twin setup.

I am thinking of going with a Thunder racing 224/224 on a 112 LSA, 4 degrees advance. Valve lift is about .565". My DCR is currently is 8.2 with the Z06 cam and stock 241 heads.

DCR would be ~7.72 if I stuck with the Z06 cam and the 6.0 heads; overlap would be about -23 degrees. The TR224 cam would put my DCR at 7.55, overlap would be 0 degrees.

The car is a six-speed, stock gears, rev limit of 6600 rpm. I would like a nice broad power band, and don't want to give up too much low end power. My main reason for considering the 224 cam is I would like a little more midrange/top end, and I also want that nice exhaut lope I used to have before the turbo.

What do you guys think?

I thought about going with a 114, but a couple guys have told me that is a rev-happy cam.

How would you describe the powerband Tiago? When does it start to pull (on and off boost)? How high do you rev?

With some encouragement/advice from others I am going to try and stay turbo, at least for 2007.

I found a somewhat local 224 on a 112 lsa for sale, so I may go for that. If I don't like it a cam swap is not too difficult anyway.
