anyone have problems with ls6 oil pump?

Default anyone have problems with ls6 oil pump?

i've heard mostly good things about the ported ls6 oil pump when you do a cam swap. after i bought the damn thing, i had at least 2 people tell me horror stories about them....anyone else? please explain

if it helps, i bought the ported/shimmed one from sdpc

huh? if you think 70+ psi at wot is a bad thing, then no, no horror stories here. Mine has been great

No problems at all with mine. I have the ported version from Texas Speed.

SDPC wont steer you wrong. You will be fine. Just make sure you dont cinch the oring. I took mine apart and put the body on, centered it, then installed the gears and cover.

I've had no problems and its has 15K miles. 60+ lbs at cruising speed.

I got mine from TSP when I did my head/cam swap. No problems so far.

+1 for no problems. plenty of PSI under normal driving and hard acceleration. i bought a ported one from Thunder racing.

We never had a problem with them.Of course we inhouse port them and set the pressure but never saw a problem before this.
