Default swapping from truck to fbody oil pan

I searched ad didn't find what I needed so if this is answered somewhere else simply point me in that direction. Thanks.

I am going to swap from a truck pan to an Fbody pan. I haven't even pulled the truck pan yet to see what's inside but I'd like to go ahead and start looking for the parts I need. Do I only need a new pan and pickup designed for an Fbpdy or do I need more than just that. Thanks.

you'l also need a windage tray for an f-body as the the front portion of the f-body oil pan is not deep enough to allow the use of a full length windage tray.

I can cut metal. Is there anything in particular I need to watch out for, or just make sure the pan fits on without hitting the tray? Thanks

Don't forget the Pickup tube.

The F-Body windage tray also has a baffel that is below the windage tray to keep the oil from going forward under braking.. I would suggest you also just use the F-Body Tray..

It took me a while to find an f-body pan used, they are difficult to find used because the f-body pan fits a lot mor conversions than the truck pan.

Hi

I have a left-over '99 Camaro LS1 oil pan and pick-up if you'd like to buy it. We'd like $80.00 plus shipping ($ ~~ 10.00) Nice condition, I cleaned it up and sprayed it down with lots of WD40.

You can probably get away with a CTS-V pan if you can find one...
