Default DR's Vs BFG KD's or Goodyear GS-D3's

I currently have the OEM Goodyear F1's on the car and I start to spin the tires at 4500 rpm in first gear on the street. I'm looking for more grip and wonder how much more grip the drag radials have over tires like the BFG KD or Goodyear GS-D3's on the street. Anybody have experience in this?

You're going to get LOTS more grip with a drag radial than with most any street tire, but the soft compound that allows that traction accelerates tire wear dramatically.

My 315mm BFG KD's are still worthless on the street, 400 RWHP and a 3500 stall won't hook up on the street anyway so I don't even try. Although they are miles ahead of my Nitto 555's (not the DR's) I still tear them loose at a 40 roll.
