Default Polished My Parents 05' Altima

Well I finally had a chance to pay my parents back by polishing there car.

They let me park the Trans Am in the garage in summer , so the least I could do for them was detail there cars, I was going to do them before winter, but just never had a chance to.

Heres our 05 Altima, I'll be doing my dads 05 Maxima sometime this week hopefully, and I will include before and afters this time.

Process:

Normal Soap/Wash at the car wash (due to winter)
Clay Bar'd
Power Cut Plus with Yellow Cutting Pad
GS1 With Green Pad
Banana Magic with Blue Pad

Used my Variable Speed Makita 9227 Polisher.

I'll let the pictures do the talking, sorry no befores, but it was really swirled, due to my mom with the stupid brush part of the ice scraper stick.

Sad truth is, with all that snow and salt on the road, the car will stay looking like that for aproximately 1-2 minutes after being drivin.

Thanks guys.

Ya I know it's gonna look like **** again very soon, but I like detailing and I know both there cars need it, so I had time to spare and owed them a favor.

It's not to big of deal, I'll just redo them come spring time, I'm sure it won't be nearly as bad as what they were before.

It's actually a good thing to do that before driving in the salt and snow because wax not only looks good, but it offers protection.

You bet!

With the salt what we have on our roads down here, every car needs a good layer of protection.
