Default Insurance question on trans am

Well I totalled my 99 trans am which was in perfect condition and I was wondering what do yall think the insurance will pay me for my car. It is totalled pretty bad. It has a little over a 100,000 miles which will be the only thing thats goin to hurt it. Hopefully I will get 8 out of it but I dont know. What do you guys think I will get out of it?

if you have done any major repairs, bring out the receipts. Scour Autotrader, eBay, ls1tech, etc. for replacement cost for a similar car. Get ready for them to lowball you, insurance companies don't make money by writing checks!

depending on the state, it is illegal for an insurance company to use bluebook value to determine the value of a vehicle. In california, for instance, they have to do a "market value" that includes not only the condition of the entire car, but a comparison to other vehicles of the same year/make/model.
