How did I do, and what do I need now?
I bought a head and cam package on ebay. How did I do in terms of making a deal and in terms of achieving my goal of 450rwhp. Now, I need some help/advice on what all I will need and a rough estimate on prices. My car is an '01 WS6 6 spd. w/ Pacesetter LT's, ORY, Adjustable Borla Exhaust, slp air lid, stock 10 bolt with 4.10's (I'm planning on getting a 9"). Any help is appreciated. Here's the link to what I got: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1630034&rd=1,1
Thanks.
Thanks.

I don't think 450 is likely, 400-410 maybe. As long as you are happy with it that is all that matters. However, I like going through the sponsors, you know what you are getting and customer service is top notch as well. Somethings are worth a little more money. IMO. Good luck with everything.

my thoughts:
I would have to agree that you should always go through sponsors simply because they are there if you EVER need them, though sometimes they are hard to get ahold of...
NEVERTHELESS...id say you paid a nice price for all of the stuff you got
(what I didnt like though is they claimed 580HP on a stock bottom end LS1)....yeah right in all of our dreams...
The cam is not a baby cam by any means, but it also isn't to radical/top end...
As far as the heads go, the 225 runner may hurt any low end you were hoping to get from this set up....the good thing is they have a 59cc combustion chamber, so your compression will bumpa little bit...make sure you do NOT have to flycut my man,....that last thing you want to have to deal with is a piston kissing a valve
My predictions 410-430 RWHP, with full exhaust and bolt ons

the cam is decent, nothing crazy and the heads flow what LS6 heads should flow but 450 rwhp is problably not going to happen. the price was good for all the stuff but when they claim to make 580rwhp i would be concerned. like evryone said we wish. the only way was to spray the motor to make that power.

They said 580 hp, not necessarily rwhp. Still though, with a manual that's about 500 rwhp, and that's not realistic if you ask me. I guess we'll just have to see.
