Default Will 5X120 fit a Camaro

I'm currently shopping for some new rims/tires, the guy at the rim shop I'm closest to said my bolt pattern is 5X4.75 he then pointed out the ugliest rims I've ever seen and told me they were the only rims in the shop that would fit my car. Of course I declined to purchase those rims, and tried looking on the net. On Ebay there are some pretty hot looking rims for a reasonable price but all the rims they say will fit a Camaro always have the 5X120 bolt pattern. I'm lookin to get the Corvette Z06's in 19's or 19/20 combo like this

They go on, but are technically the wrong bolt pattern, Camaros have a 5 x 120.65 mm BP . . . is the .65 mm diff a big issue, probably not. . . .

You shouldn't do this...

Yes, you will be able to mount them, but with the standard lug nuts there will be a very strong "side-force" (Sorry... I'm German, don't know how to say it better), that could (will) let the wheel studs brake...

A lot of the 5x120mm rims are for the BMW's. You can mount them securely on your f-body with adaptive lug nuts, that are compensating the bolt-circle (120mm to 120.65mm) and a special hub-centering-ring (72.6mm to 73mm).

HTH, Holger

P.S.: The wheels, designed for the rear axle of the BMW Z4 will usually fit perfectly on our f-bodies.
