Default Any one make a MAP sensor extention?

I'm using the small 2 bar map sensor and there is a lot of tention on the 3wire plug connecting to it. Its about a half inch shorter than the stock one. I can't seem to pull any more of the wire without risking damage. So something 6-10" long would be great. By the way, why didn't they put the sensor on the front of the motor? I get more cuts and scrapes reaching in behind the manifold than any where else.

I believe that lingenfelter sells a kit that goes into the hole that a EGR system would be at. I Had to go that route, when on my fast intake the map would pop out of its holder with big boost. It has worked perfect ever sense. As for the extension. I usually dont do them but call me on tuesday and ill make one up for you for free.

Not sure if one is readily available, but you could probably get the parts you need to make one pretty easy from a dealership.

I just cut the wires and soldered in extensions, of course the engine was out of the car.

Katech sells a MAP extension for the LS2/LS7, but I don't know if it's the same as the LS1/LS6.
