Default 2 short videos of my car on the street...

Ok, here is some video. The car has a safe tune for 9 PSI. With the streets cold I could not keep traction midway to the top of each gear....

First one is in the cab:

Second one is a few drive-bys:

If i had to guess i'd say high 300's. The motor is fully built/ported. The tranny was built by T56 rebuilds. I am working my way up to 20 PSI. I might have to put it on the dyno to tune it that high. I'm still working out some small kinks and I need to get some meth on the car. The tune I am running has a lot of timing pulled out of it. So there is a lot in it still. Just being carefull and taking it slow.

Yes Silver, that was a wing on the tundra...

cool setup... and it sounds really good for a V6

are you sure the clutch isn't slipping though ? I do not see any rubber marks from tire spin and the car looks to track straight.

turbo cars are totally different, plus he is totally guessing his power. He could very well be in the mid 400s. The car pulls hard, and I have a very SKEWED prespective

I thought it was the clutch myself on one of the pulls from inside the car, but when we did it again and again we confirmed the rear end was sliding

cool...not doubting it could spin the tires, just didn't look like it. I seen other rubber marks on the street, but none trailing the car.

any pics of the setup ?

I am running some Sumitomos HTR 35Z (315's) which I can say I am not very impressed with; and with the cold weather and cold streets I'm not sure these tires would leave rubber, unless I did a burnout. But as Tiago said above, we did question that. So I purposely stayed in the power band (where it's spinning the tires) to see what was going on. When I stayed in the power band the rear would start to fish tail. The clutch (spec stage 3+) flywheel have a little over 400 miles on them and they were both brand new.

Yup, let me dig a couple up...

My setup is very simular to this (Tiago and I built this for a guy in Florida). Minus the turbo ofcourse.

Here it is on the car.

Is this what you were looking for?

sound nice..my car dose that in the cold too dosnt leave to much rubber but im usually doin 45 when i can break them loose. u should stay in through the gears i'v seen a few turbo cars vids with a lot of power but no one realy shows it..not saying there not and im sure it feels vevy fast too. like speed inc twin camaro he shows it through all gears in a vid or pull the wheels up at the track thats showing powerfull turbo cars not hearing hte wast gate whne it gets goin fast. i can stay in it in my car from 25-75 or so to stop spinning with a lil fish tail'n

looks cool...give you props for the V6. I like different stuff and most would notgo the V6 route.

good luck with your quest for more power

Well thanks. I chose this just for something different. When I get tired of it I'll start playing with the vette. Maybe up some TTs on it

This is a fully built/ported motor. It easily has more than 210 RWHP. Stock the 3.8 engines are rated for 200RWHP. However, we all know that's rare to see the HP it's rated at, stock. The shop that build the motor has build a 270 RWHP NA 3.8 that the owners son is driving. Since I have a lower compression I'd guess in the 230ish range NA. I'll prob. hit the dyno at the end of the month and then we can see where it's at. I was going to hit the track on friday but there was too much humidity and the tracks closed down.
