Default What fuel pressure? 06 GTO

Need some info for fuel system requirements on my 06 GTO. I'm planning on building a larger than 454ci engine out of an LSX block, procharged. When adding an aftermarket fuel pump, Does the fuel pressure need to be varied according to RPM and engine load, or can it be at a constant psi to the injector rail? I am under the impression that the injectors will deliver the right ammount of fuel at say, 45psi (hypothetcal), whether at 500rpms or 6k rpms, am i right?

OEM fuel pressure is 60PSI on the 04 GTO, I presume its the same on the 05/06.

I went with a 1:1 boost reference regulator myself.

once the injector table has been scaled, this is correct.

b727- Thanks, glad I was on the right track! haven't I seen you on ls1gto.com?
I think you posted a powerpoint file on your procharger install? After reading that ppt file I ordered my procharger.

Nope, it sure didn't. It convinced me, but I've been a gearhead since I learned to ride a 3-wheeler. I like a challenge, and love gettin' greasy. It wasn't bad, I didn't have to notch out the bumper, the intercooler was mounted lower and built a little differently from what i could tell on your .ppt. Everything else was really close. Thanks for the .ppt on the install!

Not sure if its still being hosted, but try this: http://www.blackgto.com/Procharger.htm

It is specific to a 2004 GTO installation
