Default About to order some ZR1's......question

I found some 17x11 chrome ZR1's with +50mm offset/7.93" backspacing and lug pattern 5 X 120.65mm. Will this fit the back of my stock 2001 SS without any modifications? The reason I ask is that the seller says I might have to make slight modifications to fit the Camaro or Firebird.

Thanks in advance!

You'll know what all you need to do once they are installed. You may need to do the BFH mod (hammer in the inner fender wells) If your car is lowered you may need an adj phb and/or roll your fenders.

A lot of it is dictated by your tire choice. The wheels will bolt on with no mods. The wheels cannot be installed with the axle hanging, since it will conflict with the bumpstop, but that is no issue with driving.

As Donohue stated once you get the wheels and tires you will see if any mods are required. Common issues are:

Minor BFH . . . ( Big F'ing Hammer) with re-undercoating.
Adjustable panhard if lowered.
Quarter Panel lip rolling if you are lowered.

Ok, so which tire is more likely to fit without needing said big hammer? The car hasn't been lowered at all. I'm looking at BFG DR 315/35 and Nitto DR 315/35.

You will have the best chances to have the least amount of issues if you buy the nitto DR. I've had both and the nittos are much more narrow then the BFGs.
